About Us

Thirty-four thousand reviews averaging 4.7 stars don't happen by accident. Madison Square Garden has earned that rating one roaring crowd at a time, from the upper deck of a February Knicks game to the floor of a sold-out stadium rock show. The address, 4 Pennsylvania Plaza, sits directly above Penn Station, making it the most accessible arena in America and the first stop on every New York bucket list.

The building itself is a cylinder of controlled electricity. Walk through the gates and the noise hits you before the court does. Vendors push BBQ platters and deli sandwiches through corridors wide enough to handle 20,000 people without a bottleneck. Sightlines from the upper bowl are tighter than newcomers expect, and the acoustics have made engineers at venues around the world genuinely jealous.

Since the current Garden opened in 1968, it has hosted Muhammad Ali fights, Knicks and Rangers championships, and performances from every artist whose name belongs in a sentence with the word legend. Whatever you come to see, the building amplifies it.

What We Offer

The Garden runs on two main tracks: live sports and live entertainment, and both calendars run nearly year-round. The New York Knicks and New York Rangers anchor the fall-through-spring schedule, with playoff runs that turn the building into something closer to a pressure cooker than a stadium.

Beyond the home teams, MSG books major concerts, boxing and MMA cards, college basketball tournaments, the annual Westminster Dog Show, and special events that don't fit any other venue in the five boroughs. The Chase Square atrium hosts pre-show gatherings, and the Club Level suites offer a quieter way to experience the same electric nights.

Tickets are available through the official site at msg.com, with options ranging from single-game seats to premium courtside and rinkside packages. Arena tours run on select dates for fans who want to walk the locker rooms and stand at center court without a game on the calendar.

"We had a great first time at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks game on 2/21. It was busy, but they managed the crowds well. There are lots of food options in the arena, like BBQ and a deli. I could see the court well from where I was sitting. The game we went to kept us up in our seats, and overall it was a really fun night. I would definitely go to another sporting event or concert here."

"Visiting this arena was truly an incredible experience. I had the chance to watch a basketball game with a full-capacity crowd, which made the atmosphere even more exciting and unforgettable. The venue offers complete facilities, including restrooms and a wide variety of food options. It’s also very convenient to get here by subway, and traveling back is just as easy. If you’re visiting New York City, you should definitely attend a sporting event here at least once—it’s a fantastic and memorable experience."

"This was the second time to watch the New York rangers at MSG,however the first after the refit. Wow what a difference! Passing through security was no bother at all, with friendly stewards and visible signage. This was a big art of our vacation and it certainly didnt disappoint! It took a bit of time for us to find our section, which was up in section 414. As can be seen from the pics, despite the height we managed to get a good view of the game. We couldn't see the Jumbotron, but there wereTV screens on the walls that repeated the display anyway, and it didnt detract from the game. Drinks and snacks were a bit pricey, but that's to be expected. Sound in the venue was brilliant and there were lots of other entertainment in the intermissions between periods. Organist was on top form and of course hearing the goal horn and singing Goal song live at MSG is what its all about! I've watched Rangers games on TV and it really doesn’t come close to being there. If you get the chance, go!"

"Fantastic experience. I went to a Knicks game expecting big crowds and long lines. The staff were so great. Lines were minimal and moved fast. Concession choices were great and quick. The facility was immaculate. Even leaving at the end of the night was fast and orderly. I’ve been to many sporting events but this was far and away the nicest experience."
